Optimal cushioning Drivers of towing vehicles dread the build-up of swinging movements that can affect a trailer on uneven ground. With the AL-KO Octagon axle shock absorber, these dangerous movements can be reduced.

The Octagon axle shock absorber can be used for all axles except Euro axles. Take note of the installation dimensions as per the installation guide! To rule out any confusion, the different weight areas are highlighted in different colours. Octagon axle shock absorbers are specially calibrated for a specific weight range so they can enhance the trailer's handling characteristics most effectively.
PRACTICAL TIP
Speed 100 with your trailer? The German Road Vehicle Licensing Regulation exemptions permit this under various conditions: trailers must be equipped with hydraulic axle shock absorbers, e.g. with AL-KO Octagon shock absorbers. Rubber coated articulated joint apertures, up to 5° tilt.
NOTE: please order 2 shock absorbers per axle.

- Simple installation. Rubber lined suction cups at the articulated joints enable a tension-free installation position with minimal wear and up to a 5° incline.
- Long service life. Overload protection prevents the material from being overstressed. AL-KO only uses quality seals and specialised oil.
