Air Beds - cosy nights when camping

Advantages of a camping air mattress

  • Who hasn’t had a mattress that was either too hard or too soft. You no longer have this problem with an inflatable bed, because you can regulate the degree of hardness by the amount of air pressure.
  •  The air bed adapts to the ergonomics of the body and the movements during sleep and thus offers the best sleeping comfort.
  • Since you can fold the air mattress quickly and compactly and it therefore takes up little space, it is perfect as a guest bed.
  • As a rule, all types of air beds can be covered with a fitted sheet.
  • The camping bed requires very little maintenance, as only the bed cover needs to be washed.
  • If a hole does appear, you don't have to dispose of your air bed straight away, of course, but can repair the hole quickly and easily with repair patches, which are usually supplied.
  • The camping air beds from Berger Camping are available in many different sizes and can also be used comfortably by two people.

The different types of air beds

  • Air bed with foot or hand pump: With this model, the inflatable bed is inflated with the help of a hand or foot pump. This type is particularly suitable for camping trips where there is no power socket. Furthermore, the external pump can also be used for other inflatable things, such as inflatable boats or water toys.
  • Air bed with electric pump: Here, the camping air mattress is inflated with the help of an integrated pump. This model is especially practical for campers who do not want to exert themselves and want to have their bed set up quickly.
  • Self-inflating air bed: This air mattress inflates by itself immediately after opening the plastic valve.
