How long could you test the caravan awning?
„We were able to test the tent over four days.“
Where were you camping with the awning?
„On a camping site in the Palatinate.“
To which weather conditions was the touring awning exposed during the test?
„The weather had everything to offer - sun, one day of continuous rain and wind(medium strong).“
How easy was it to set up the tent and how long did it take you?
„From the laying out of a tarpaulin to the standing inflated tent we have only needed 14 min. I as a woman had no problems with pumping up and did not have to exert any major effort. Of course, the tensioning then takes just as much time as with any other tent.“
How easy was it to install on the caravan?
„Initially, we had to think briefly, at which point (we have a second keder opening on the straight upper keder strip)and from which side we should pull in the tent. But after a short vote, we agreed on the lower normal opening and with four hands, we had the tent very quickly pulled in. One thing to consider is the weight of the tent. Since all front and side walls were already attached, it would not have been possible for one person alone to pull in the tent.“
How good did you find the inflatable pole in the test?
„The tent is very stable. Only one air hose had a small kink and thus this set-up support was somewhat bent there. You should check before you completely inflate the tent inside that the hoses are straight and align something if necessary.“
How do you like the indoor climate in the awning?
„The indoor climate was really very good. The sun shone quite strongly on two test days and through the two large side windows we could ventilate the tent wonderfully. The removable side walls also contribute to very good ventilation options. We also found the high vents to be very good and sufficient in the evening at cooler temperatures.“
How comfortable did you find the caravan awning in the test?
„We are thrilled with the feeling of space and the size of the tent. For stove, cupboard, table and chairs and various drinks, etc. you have enough space. The tent depth of 2.50 m is definitely noticeable. Also we liked the front door to roll up and the possibility of side doors very much. The materials we felt good, but at the beginning a little stiff. However, this improved with each day of use. Especially the earth strips became more supple from day to day and laid well. The zippers go partly a bit heavy and the teeth do not grip at every point plan when closed. This is with our all-season awning then but a lot better. After the continuous rain on day 3, the tent dried wonderfully quickly and we could dismantle it on day four again absolutely dry.“

„Pack size and weight correspond to the size of the tent. If you consider that the *Pole* is already included and the tent should also have a reasonable stability, the weight is absolutely understandable and for good to rate. The packaging in a trolley has us very excited.“
How do you like the look and style of the caravan awning?
„The style and colors we can rate as good. Everyone has different tastes in color and shape. We liked it very much.“
How easy was it to dismantle and stow away?
„Well, this is a somewhat more difficult subject. Under professional guidance, we might have managed it better and faster. One can honestly say that after opening the valve, the air escapes very quickly and we could pull it out of the piping again after 1 min. However, the air does not escape completely and due to the weight and size of the tent, folding the tent proved to be somewhat problematic. We needed three attempts. More detailed instructions and tips would be desirable here. Unfortunately, we could no longer stow the tent together with the accessories (pump, pegs, poles)in the trolley. We felt this was not very tragic because my husband likes to store these things separately in his designated boxes. The next time we dismantle, we will remove the side walls beforehand and fold the tent and walls separately. Maybe it will work better then and everything will fit back into the pack sack.“
How do you rate the value for money of this caravan awning?
„The price-performance ratio is okay. The quick assembly is an absolute plus, but the stability of course does not correspond to a normal tent with poles.“
Overall impression:
„The assembly of the tent was really a highlight and has inspired us. The stability is absolutely top in normal weather and also times heavy rain. The two storm straps and the guy ropes made of reflective material have pleased us very much. The two pressure poles for the wall beads on the caravan wall we also found very good and give the tent very good support. However, I would not want to have to spend a thunderstorm in this tent. Here I would give precedence to a tent with poles or storm poles. The feeling of space and the size is also top. For short vacations and weekends we can absolutely recommend this awning.“

How long could you test the caravan awning?
„During our Whitsun vacation we were able to test the awning extensively for two weeks.“
Where were you camping with the awning?
„We were two weeks with the awning in Italy on a campsite near Jesolo.“
To which weather conditions was the touring awning exposed during the test?
„Overall, we had beautiful weather. Only on two days it rained properly. There was no storm this year“
How easy was it to set up the tent and how long did it take you?
„We spread out the tent on the laid out awning carpet. Pulling it into the keder rail of the caravan went quite well. The subsequent inflation of the poles on the central valve was simple and went quickly. After slightly lifting the tent roof, the tent set itself up and then stood perfectly, so that it only had to be braced. After 35 minutes, the tent stood fixed ready“
How easy was it to install on the caravan?
„First, the tent had to be placed in the correct position for pulling into the keder rail. This took some time. After that, it was quite easy to pull the tent into the caravan's keder rail. Since there were five of us, we were all able to help, which made things easier.
The pressure bars for attaching the side walls to the caravan were quickly set up, but had to be readjusted several times during the vacation.“
How good did you find the inflatable pole in the test?
„At first we were skeptical whether the inflatable pole would meet the requirements. However, already during the assembly then showed the advantages. It set up almost by itself and was also very stable, we are thrilled.“
How do you like the indoor climate in the awning?
„After assembly, we opened all the ventilation windows on the side walls and also on the front wall. We also opened the side windows. Because the awning stood directly in the sun and was only shaded by trees towards evening, the temperature in the awning increased, which is quite normal.“
How comfortable did you find the caravan awning in the test?
„The assembly went quite easily. For us, the awning was perfect. More comfort is hardly possible.“

„The inflatable frame results in a significant weight reduction and the small pack size makes the awning very easy to store. The wheels on the pannier are also great, so the awning can be easily pulled. It could hardly be better.“

„We like the classic style of the awning. This is how we visually imagine a caravan awning.“
How easy was it to dismantle and stow away?
„We first dismantled the guy ropes of the tent. When opening the valve of the inflatable boom, much of the air escaped very quickly. The disassembly of the caravan was easier than the assembly. When folding, there were then but, as expected, slight difficulties to achieve the small pack size. The remaining air escaped only slowly from the linkage. But the pack size for the pannier could be achieved. “
How do you rate the value for money of this caravan awning?
„The entire caravan awning proved to be very robust and made a quality overall impression. The inflatable poles also made a stable impression. In our opinion, this justifies the price.“
Overall impression:
„We were skeptical in advance about the inflatable poles. It has been shown during the two weeks that this is an excellent solution and the tent is very stable. The advantages are obvious. The weight reduction and the simple setup speak for themselves. A small disadvantage we could nevertheless determine. Until now, we had always hung our camping lamp in the middle of the awning on the tent poles. This was now so no longer possible because our lamp proved to be too heavy. Overall, however, we can warmly recommend the travel awning to all.“

„Paris, France“
To which weather conditions was the touring awning exposed during the test?
„We had a lot of wind and partly heavy rain.“
How easy was it to set up the tent and how long did it take you?
„The awning was set up super fast. The two of us needed about 35 minutes. To test how quickly the set up works, we have already tested it briefly at home. It also went so fast during the test. We were totally surprised how quickly the air hoses were full and the tent set up almost by itself.“
How easy was it to install on the caravan?
„No problem at all. We were able to pull the tent into the piping without any problems. After we inflated it, we only had to align the two poles for the rear part of the tent on the caravan.“
How good did you find the inflatable pole in the test?
„Simply great. The supplied air pump was very helpful here and you could fill the rod in about 5 minutes. Now you only had to align it a bit and you could start with the attachment of the two poles and hammering in the pegs.“
How do you like the indoor climate in the awning?
„We found it to be absolutely fine, given the temperatures and weather at Easter.“
How comfortable did you find the caravan awning in the test?
„From the size it is optimal for us. We were in this vacation three on tour plus our family friends with also three people. For a cozy get-together this has fit great. If you could also leave the seating area outside, our bikes and the clothes dryer easily found space in it. It was really spacious and comfortable. The only thing we found a little inconvenient was that the zipper of the side entrance can only be opened from top to bottom. The other way around we would find it more practical, as we preferred to use the side entrance.“

How do you like the look and style of the caravan awning?
„We really like the overall package. Only the white curtains I would replace as a housewife possibly by a more insensitive color.“
How easy was it to dismantle and stow away?
„The first time we tested it at home, we couldn't fold it small enough to fit back into the Trolli. In Paris when dismantling this was no longer a problem, because we had then already gotten the hang of it. Simply deflate or suck out and fold in the format of the Trolli - done!“

„Is all right.“
Overall impression:
„We were so thrilled overall with the set up, take down, stow and of course use that we are already looking forward to using it on our next vacations in 2018. Our kids also thought it was really cool. Many thanks to Berger for letting us test this great tent.“

„From sunshine to heavy rain and storm everything was there“
How easy was it to set up the tent and how long did it take you?
„Setting up the tent was very easy. It took us just 10 minutes to set up and about 15 minutes to secure it“
How easy was it to install on the caravan?
„It is simply pulled in the keder strip and after it stands still fixed with the pressure rods.“
How good did you find the inflatable pole in the test?
„Inflation was very simple. An air pump is included.“
How do you like the indoor climate in the awning?
„It was comfortable at all times. In the spring we heated with a gas stove and had no condensation in the awning“
How comfortable did you find the caravan awning in the test?
„We were completely satisfied. The tent is not immediately recognizable from the outside as an air tent. One has a very good ceiling height from the caravan side to the door. The tent size is very good because it is square.“

„The dismantling was very simple. Valve open and air out. Then the tent out of the keder strip and ready.
However, to get the tent back into the trolly is not possible during the first dismantling without experience.“

„The tent is very well made. And also makes a good impression visually“
Overall impression:
„We are absolute camping newcomers to four with caravan set off to Holland.
The assembly of the tent was very simple, but we were a little unsure at first, because no assembly instructions were included. But actually everything was self-explanatory. Pull in the keder strip and pump up. Then the pressure bars must still be attached to the caravan wall and it must still be attached with the pegs. We had ordered the stability set to it. What I would also recommend to everyone. The curtains we have not attached. That would have been visually beautiful, but to get the fasteners in the associated tabs required too much time and patience, which we have rather invested in the vacation
Dismantling was very easy, turn on the valve, let the air flow out of the piping, fold it up and stow it away.
Unfortunately, we were unable to get the tent back into the trolly during the first tear down. We just couldn't get it rolled up small enough.
We did the second set up at 25 degrees and sunny. The tent was tightly inflated.
During the night there was heavy rain, thunderstorms and the temperature dropped.
This reduced the air pressure in the air chambers and in the morning we had a collapsed tent, which could be put up again without any problems by applying slight pressure from below. Re-pump, and good was.
We had been able to test all weather conditions except for snow.
It is recommended to check the air pressure several times
We can recommend the tent with a clear conscience to buy.“
