The idea is as ingenious as it is simple – with the Drive Van Trunk, the boot lid and the space beneath and behind it transform into a large awning in the blink of an eye! Combined with the boot itself, this creates plenty of space for sleeping, cooking and sitting together.
The Drive Van Trunk is exceptionally versatile – thanks to its ingenious tension strap design, it adapts to various types of car and can be unfolded on either side. The awning can thus be fitted to VW Bus-sized vehicles and panel vans, such as the VW Caddy, transforming the van into a campervan.
The open boot lid acts as the supporting structure for the tent, and the resulting headroom allows you to get changed comfortably – or even have a shower – whilst maintaining the necessary privacy. The space inside the awning offers ample storage space or even room for cooking and eating, with two chairs and a small table. The awning attached to the boot ensures optimal ventilation within the secure vehicle interior whilst providing the necessary privacy.
