The Aero Platinum Mirror is an innovative new design specifically engineered to fit securely on the extremely tapered mirror mounts now found on an increasing number of manufacturers' vehicles to improve fuel efficiency by reducing drag.
One of the most important developments of the Aero Platinum Mirror is the inclusion of new flexible, rubber-coated stainless steel gripper plates with spring loading. These are over 50% larger than the standard Aero 3 mirror pads. This design allows the gripper to conform to the shape of the vehicle mirror bezel. This significantly increases the surface contact area, providing the towing mirror with improved grip and stability. The Platinum clamp has also been enlarged to accommodate vehicle mirror bezels up to 25 mm thick. It also now features a larger diameter arm that gives the mirror even more stability and provides sufficient reach for use on caravans up to 2.55 meters wide.
Platinum mirrors are made from the highest quality materials to ensure rugged durability. Stainless steel and brass are used in key areas to ensure reliability and also prevent corrosion from road salt. The mirror glass is the highest quality chrome glass available to ensure a very long life.
The Aero Platinum mirrors have been designed, engineered, manufactured and tested to the most exacting standards to ensure they provide superior performance and a perfect fit for 100% of today's vehicles.
