Put an end to odours
A small, high-performance fan – specially developed for and in collaboration with SOG (resistant to the aggressive components in the air drawn in from the waste tank | waterproof) – achieves the following effect

• It switches on automatically when the toilet flap is opened and creates a vacuum in the waste tank
• this creates a ‘SOG’ effect at the valve opening, which draws in fresh air as well as the odours produced during use and channels them outside
• The intake of air acts as a seal and 100% prevents all unpleasant sewage gases from rising out of the tank (comfort without odour)
• However, after the system switches off automatically, ventilation to the outside continues whilst the system remains sealed inwards

Advantages
As well as putting an end to odour nuisance, the active toilet ventilation system has the major advantage of operating entirely without the use of chemicals. When the slide valve is closed, the SOG system’s hose connection to the outside ensures that the decomposition process is accelerated by the deliberate introduction of oxygen into the waste tank. Even standard toilet paper is broken down in no time at all, making the use of special paper unnecessary.

Activated carbon
An important component of the SOG and SOG II is activated carbon. This consists predominantly of carbon (usually >90 per cent) with a highly porous structure. The pores are interconnected, much like a sponge (open-pored). Activated carbon is used as an adsorbent in a range of fields, including chemistry, medicine, water and wastewater treatment, and ventilation and air-conditioning technology.

Door variant
The fan is fitted directly to the inside of the waste flap. The housing with the activated carbon filter is fitted to the outside. The stylish plastic housing is available in white, light grey, dark grey and black, and can also be painted to match the vehicle’s colour. SOG for the service flap is the easiest ventilation option to fit.
