First of all, we’re glad that you found the folding chair’s seating comfort to be satisfactory and that you’ve been able to sit comfortably in it during your camping trips so far. We’re all the more sorry to hear that the seat bracket has now broken off, meaning the chair can no longer be used as intended.
Especially with a camping chair designed for regular use on the go, a sturdy construction and reliable seat attachment play a crucial role alongside comfortable seating. According to your description, such damage occurred after only about ten weeks of total use—something that, of course, should not happen when the chair is used as intended.
We fully understand how frustrating it is when a chair suddenly goes missing during a camping trip and, in your estimation, cannot be repaired.
Since the Slimline is one of our Berger products, we take your feedback regarding the durability of the seat mounting very seriously and will consider it an important factor in future product development.
For safety reasons, please do not continue to use the damaged folding chair. We recommend that you have the damage inspected as part of a warranty claim, along with your proof of purchase.

Es freut uns zunächst, dass Dich der Sitzkomfort des Klappsessels überzeugen konnte und Du während Deiner bisherigen Campingurlaube bequem darin gesessen hast. Umso mehr bedauern wir, dass die Halterung der Sitzfläche nun ausgebrochen ist und der Stuhl dadurch nicht mehr wie vorgesehen genutzt werden kann.
Gerade bei einem Campingstuhl, der für den regelmäßigen Einsatz unterwegs konzipiert ist, spielen neben einem angenehmen Sitzkomfort auch eine stabile Konstruktion und eine zuverlässige Befestigung der Sitzfläche eine entscheidende Rolle. Dass nach Deiner Schilderung bereits nach insgesamt etwa zehn Wochen Nutzung ein solcher Schaden aufgetreten ist, sollte bei bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung natürlich nicht passieren.
Wir können gut nachvollziehen, wie ärgerlich es ist, wenn während eines Campingurlaubs plötzlich ein Stuhl fehlt und eine Reparatur nach Deiner Einschätzung nicht mehr möglich ist.
Da es sich beim Slimline um eines unserer Berger-Produkte handelt, nehmen wir Deinen Hinweis zur Haltbarkeit der Sitzflächenhalterung sehr ernst und berücksichtigen diesen als wichtigen Punkt für die weitere Produktentwicklung.
