We’re very pleased that you’re impressed with the MC20’s cooling performance. After all, reliable cooling is especially important when you’re on the road and when outside temperatures are high.

It’s a shame that the operating noise is dampening your otherwise positive impression of the cooler. With a compressor-style cooler, the compressor is generally audible during the active cooling phase. However, it does not run continuously: as soon as the set temperature is reached, the compressor shuts off. If the temperature inside the cooler rises again, it restarts to maintain the set temperature.

Especially in a quiet RV or trailer—and particularly near the sleeping area—these recurring operating cycles can naturally be more noticeable and perceived as disruptive.

Es freut uns sehr, dass Dich die Kühlleistung der MC20 überzeugt. Gerade unterwegs und bei höheren Außentemperaturen ist eine zuverlässige Kühlung schließlich besonders wichtig.

Schade, dass die Betriebslautstärke Deinen ansonsten guten Eindruck von der Kühlbox trübt. Bei einer Kompressor-Kühlbox ist der Kompressor während der aktiven Kühlphase grundsätzlich hörbar. Er arbeitet jedoch nicht dauerhaft: Sobald die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht ist, schaltet der Kompressor ab. Steigt die Temperatur in der Kühlbox wieder entsprechend an, startet er erneut, um die eingestellte Temperatur zu halten.

Gerade in einem ruhigen Wohnmobil oder Wohnwagen und insbesondere in der Nähe des Schlafbereichs können diese wiederkehrenden Betriebsphasen natürlich deutlicher wahrgenommen und als störend empfunden werden.

Deinen Hinweis zur Lautstärke nehmen wir bei unserer MC20 daher gerne als wichtigen Punkt für die weitere Produktentwicklung mit auf. Neben einer zuverlässigen Kühlleistung spielt schließlich auch ein möglichst angenehmer Betrieb beim Camping eine wichtige Rolle.
