Product description
The innovative SwissPiranha Snow and Sand Anchor is made from robust, highly flexible PiranhaXT and enables rapid anchoring with high pull-out resistance in soft ground such as sand or snow. With a blade length of 20 cm, the SSA offers greater holding power than comparable snow anchors, yet at 43 g each, it weighs only half as much! Its PiranhaXT plastic remains elastic even at low temperatures (-50 °C) and prevents it from ‘thawing out’ of the snow – as happens with conventional aluminium anchors when exposed to sunlight.
Here’s how it works: dig a ‘T’ shape into the surface with a spade, insert the SwissPiranha SSA at an angle of 30 to 45°, and compact the surface by tapping lightly with the spade – that’s it!
The SwissPiranha Snow and Sand Anchor was awarded the OutDoor Industry Award in 2015.
