Product description
The SwissPiranha RT220 weighs just under 34g and impresses with its immense holding power in all conditions. Wide wings on the shaft and a total length of 22 cm ensure that even large tents and teepees are securely anchored in soft ground.
These tent pegs from SwissPiranha are made from the high-performance plastic PiranhaNT and offer significant advantages over conventional tent pegs: they are ultra-light, impact-resistant and extremely secure. Their tapered shape makes them easy to drive into the ground, whilst an X-shaped cross-section with a sawtooth profile ensures a secure hold in a wide variety of soils. The flat head compresses the ground and maximises holding power. Notches hold the tent lines securely in place and ensure optimum anchoring. The high-performance plastic PiranhaNT withstands being driven into the ground with a hammer, axe or stone – no sharp edges are created that could damage the tent fabric.
As SwissPiranha tent pegs are driven completely into the ground at a 90° angle, the risk of injury is reduced to virtually zero. Dirty pegs can be washed in the dishwasher.
