Scooters are becoming more and more popular for exploration tours while camping, because no extra driving licence class is required for them - and there are transport possibilities for scooters, if the payload allows it, suitable for almost every motor home. Basically, a scooter can be transported in a spacious rear garage or at the rear of the motorhome on a motorcycle carrier. Since in both cases restrictions regarding the remaining load capacity of the motorhome must be observed, the Linnepe carrier systems are made of saltwater-resistant aluminium. They offer at least the same stability as conventional steel beams combined with a considerable weight advantage. All externally mounted carrier systems are connected to the chassis and not to the body. They are removable and are supplied with an EC type certificate, so no entry in the vehicle documents is necessary. Surcharge for an additionally required frame extension for vehicles without or with non-load bearing frame extension please ask for.
