It’s a shame that the tableware disappointed you so much after just the first use. Especially with camping tableware, you naturally expect it to be easy to use and clean in everyday life.
The Göteborg is made of lightweight, shatter-resistant plastic and is dishwasher-safe. However, there are a few special considerations to keep in mind when using it: Koziol recommends avoiding contact with sharp-edged objects such as metal cutlery whenever possible, as these can permanently damage the surface. Foods and spices that stain heavily can also cause discoloration of the material.
We deeply regret that the smell of food has lingered for such a long time. We recommend first giving it a thorough cleaning according to the care instructions. The tableware is dishwasher-safe. Afterward, you should let it dry completely and air it out well. We hope this will eliminate the lingering food odor.

Schade, dass Dich das Geschirr bereits nach der ersten Nutzung so deutlich enttäuscht hat. Gerade bei einem Campinggeschirr erwartet man natürlich, dass es sich im Alltag unkompliziert verwenden und reinigen lässt.
Das Göteborg besteht aus einem leichten und bruchfesten Kunststoff und ist spülmaschinengeeignet. Bei der Verwendung gibt es allerdings einige Besonderheiten zu beachten: Koziol empfiehlt, den Kontakt mit scharfkantigen Gegenständen wie Metallbesteck möglichst zu vermeiden, da diese die Oberfläche dauerhaft beschädigen können. Auch stark färbende Lebensmittel und Gewürze können zu Verfärbungen des Materials führen.
Dass bei Dir zusätzlich der Geruch von Lebensmitteln über einen längeren Zeitraum wahrnehmbar geblieben ist, bedauern wir sehr. Wir empfehlen zunächst eine gründliche Reinigung entsprechend der Pflegehinweise. Das Geschirr ist für die Reinigung in der Spülmaschine geeignet. Anschließend solltest Du es vollständig trocknen und gut auslüften lassen. Wir hoffen, dass sich der verbliebene Lebensmittelgeruch dadurch beseitigen lässt.
