Spread out the damaged fabric on a hard and smooth surface (ironing board), inside up. Cut the ironing cloth all around with 1 cm overlap, round off the corners. Place the ironing cloth with the coated side down. Set the iron to the maximum temperature of the fabric to be mended and iron on for about 45 seconds. For protection, place a thin cloth or an ironing net on top. Finally, iron it again from the other side and let it cool down for a few minutes. If necessary, repeat the ironing process.
