Product description
Hot water even on the darkest days with very little sunlight. The mains power supply heats the water when there is not enough solar power available.
If the water temperature in the boiler falls below the set minimum temperature, the boiler automatically switches on the mains power supply. As a result, the water is heated using electricity from the mains.
Setting the minimum temperature
A minimum temperature can be set in no time at all using the boiler’s buttons. This minimum temperature can be freely configured between 5 °C and 65 °C in 5 °C increments. For example, a minimum water temperature of 35 °C can be set. If the water temperature falls below the set minimum temperature, the boiler automatically switches on the power supply unit. The water is heated using mains electricity.
As soon as the set minimum temperature is reached, the reheating process is automatically stopped.
PV electricity always takes priority
The photovoltaic boiler always uses as much photovoltaic electricity as possible.
If the water temperature falls below the set minimum temperature whilst electricity is being generated by the photovoltaic modules, all the photovoltaic electricity is always used first. If there is not enough electricity available from the photovoltaic modules whilst the water temperature is below the minimum set temperature, electricity is drawn from the mains in parallel.
The mains adaptor is connected via a simple plug connection. Installation is intuitive. No qualified electrician is required.
- The power supply unit is plugged into the underside of the boiler and into the mains socket.
- The next step is to set the minimum water temperature. This is done using two buttons on the boiler itself. The configuration is very straightforward and is explained in detail in the operating instructions supplied.
