"It looks quite nice, but the construction feels rather flimsy for the price. The lid hinges are just loosely riveted sheets of metal. If you don’t open the lid carefully, they get caught and you end up bending them. The burner inserts are each held in place by a spring clip. One of them was so loose that it didn’t hold the burner in place. Bending it back into shape helped here. The stove is very light and slides easily on surfaces, making it fiddly to light. You have to press in the ignition safety catch and constantly secure the stove to prevent it from sliding. The price-performance ratio isn’t right here." "Die Optik ist ganz hübsch, aber die Konstruktion ist für den Preis eher billig. Locker eingenietete Bleche als Klappenscharnier. Wenn man nicht vorsichtig den Deckel öffnet verhaken diese und man verbiegt sie. Die Brennereinsätze werden von jeweils einem Federblech fixiert. Eines davon war so locker, dass der Brenner nicht gehalten wurde. Hier half etwas nachbiegen. Der Kocher ist sehr leicht und rutscht auf Oberflächen leicht weg, sodass das Anzünden fummelig ist. Man muss die Zündsicherung eindrücken und immer den Kocher gegen verrutschen sichern. Preis - Leistung stimmt hier nicht."

"I first bought the CF in 1996 and it has survived 5 years indoors and 19 years on the balcony. The heat output is great and the flames have enough distance to heat a large pot and a pan. Three years ago I unfortunately bought a Dutch product as a replacement: Thin tray within flame range, no possibility to position pots centrally over the flames, a so-called grill function that does nothing. The thing was scrap after three years on the balcony. I can wholeheartedly recommend the CF, the enamel coating in particular prolongs its life." "Das erste Mal habe ich den CF 1996 gekauft, der hat 5 Jahre indoor und 19 Jahre Balkonien überlebt. Die Heizleistung ist super und die Flammen haben genug Abstand um einen großen Topf und eine Pfanne zu erhitzen. Vor drei Jahren hatte ich leider ein Holländisches Produkt als Ersatz gekauft: Dünnes Blech in Flammenreichweite, keine Möglichkeit Töpfe zentral über den Flammen zu positionieren, eine sogenannte Grillfunktion die nix kann. Datt Ding war nach drei Jahren Balkon Schrott. Den CF kann ich rückhaltlos empfehlen, insbesondere die Emaillierung ist lebensverlängernd."
