Vehicle Battery
The vehicle battery supplies the motorhome or caravan with power. In contrast to the starter battery, the vehicle battery can be charged via solar modules on the roof and provide power for many hours.
In practice, different types of vehicle batteries are used. Common variants include wet batteries, gel batteries or AGM batteries. High-quality vehicle batteries are characterised by many charging cycles and a high cycle depth.
Unlike starter batteries, on-board batteries can be completely discharged by power consumers such as lights, TV sets or water pumps and then recharged with solar power.
