Self-sufficient

Self-sufficient means "not dependent on anyone". Independent, self-sufficient camping therefore means not being dependent on the sanitary facilities of a campsite or on a central supply of energy, food and water for several days. This is possible in a tent, caravan, camper van, but also in a car.
