Guy Line
A guy line is a weather-proof, thin rope with high tensile strength. It has tabs with which it can be attached to tents and pegs.
Guy lines are used to keep the outer tent wall away from the inner tent, even in strong wind and rain. In this way, the guy rope prevents water from getting into the tent interior.
