AGM battery

AGM batteries can be used as starter batteries for vehicles or for power storage and supply for campers. The abbreviation AGM stands for "Absorbent Glass Mat". This is a glass fibre fleece that has been saturated with sulphuric acid. Thus, the AGM battery does not contain any liquid that could leak, for example, if the battery is damaged. 

Another advantage of the AGM battery is that it can go through many charging cycles . When camping, it can be used for operation with solar panels.
