What can the Alb Filter do?
Supplying water is one of the most important tasks for campers. But when filling up at water taps, it is often impossible to assess the water quality. Thanks to the Alb Filter, you can now fill up with clean and healthy water even from untrustworthy sources. The Alb Filter filters up to 99.9 % of the smallest micro-organisms, including E. coli bacteria and salmonella. The Alb Filter System is compatible with Gardena connections, so thanks to additional tap connectors you can easily connect it to almost all supply points.

Alb Filter Editions
There are two editions of the Alb Filter.
1. Alb Filter Mobile Edition
In the mobile edition, the Alb Filter is placed on the outside of the filling nozzle before the water is filled. When refuelling the motorhome or caravan, you already prevent pollutants from entering the tank outside the camping vehicle.
2. Alb Filter Travel Edition
The Travel Edition of the Alb Filter, on the other hand, is installed directly in the motorhome or caravan. Either shortly after the pump to supply all tapping points in the motorhome or caravan with filtered water or directly in front of the tap to filter only the drinking water. This is very easy thanks to the connection set with plug and hose connector including water stop function.
Filter cartridges
Depending on the application, you can choose between three filter cartridges. The cartridges are designed for around 7,000 litres of water or a useful life of 4 months. When this is reached, the water flow will decrease and you will notice that the cartridge needs to be replaced.
Active cartridge
Inside the Active cartridge is a coconut activated carbon core, which is capable of reducing chlorine and organic pollutants in particular. In addition, the often bland taste of the water is neutralised.
Other substances that the Active cartridge filters are: microscopic plastic particles, heavy metals such as lead and copper and organic compounds such as pesticide residues, herbicides, insecticides, drug residues and hormones.
Nano cartridge
The Nano cartridge is used as a drinking water and shower cartridge for filtering micro germs and bacteria such as salmonella and E. coli. In order not to spoil the shower experience, the Nano cartridge has a flow rate of up to 15 litres/min. It also has an extremely long service life and can be used for longer than 6 months.
Alb Filter Fusion
The Fusion version of the Alb Filter consists of two filter units connected in series. Inside, there are Active and Nano filter cartridges that provide all-round protection against pollutants and germs.
Alb Filter accessories
To prevent coarse contaminants such as sediment, sand or rust from entering the tank when it is filled, the water can be pre-filtered. To do this, the Alb Filter Protect is screwed in front of the filter cartridge. Depending on the degree of soiling, the change should be made every 2 to 4 months. With the Alb Filter Connect it is possible to connect several Alb Filter cartridges in series. To do this, remove the cover from one filter housing and the base from the other and screw both filter housings together at the connector. How do I choose the right Alb Filter?
The portfolio of products from Alb Filter is really large. To find the right combination of filter and cartridge, you should first consider which edition of the Alb Filter you need. If you want to refuel your caravan or motorhome from the outside and also use the Alb Filter outside your camping holiday, choose the Mobile Edition. If you want to install the Alb Filter permanently in the camper, the Travel Edition is more suitable for you.
Then select the appropriate filter cartridge. Here you have the choice between Active, Active plus and Nano. Depending on the travel area and your water requirements, you can install one cartridge or combine several.
