Condensation Build-up
When warm air meets cool surfaces, the water molecules condense on the surfaces. Condensation occurs when the warm air from inside the tent hits the cool tent wall. To avoid condensation build-up, the tent should always be well ventilated, e.g. via constant top ventilation or cross ventilation via air vents in the side panels. Double-walled tents are advantageous. Here, the breathable inner tent ensures good air circulation, which reduces condensation build-up.
