3.1 Application of harmonized standards and technical specifications
Our online presence complies:
- in parts the Harmonized European Standard (EN) 301 549.
(EN) 301 549 entitled "Accessibility requirements for ICT products and services" is a European standard for digital accessibility.
- it partly complies with the Web Contents Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) in version: 2.1. It achieves level A and AA.
The WCAG are an international standard of accessibility guidelines. They are created and maintained by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the committee for the standardization of technologies on the Internet. The aim of the guidelines is to create structures for digital services that enable access and use for all people in terms of digital accessibility.
3.2 Supporting measures
Our website provides the following supporting measures:
Keyboard operability: interactive elements such as buttons, links, menus and form elements can mainly be operated using the keyboard. The use of tabindex meets the requirements.
Text display: Font size, line and character spacing can be adjusted using user-defined stylesheets without losing content.
Navigation: There are mechanisms for bypassing navigation elements, e.g. skip links ("Skip to Content") to go directly to the main content.
Structural accessibility: Semantically correct use of HTML elements such as lists, form fields with labels and clear ARIA roles has been ensured in many areas.
Form use: Form elements are predominantly provided with visible, meaningful labels, mandatory fields are clearly marked and error messages are formulated in an understandable way.

5.competent market surveillance authority
The federal states are currently setting up a joint body to carry out the tasks of the Accessibility Reinforcement Act.
The Market Surveillance Authority of the Federal States for the Accessibility of Products and Services (MLBF) is to commence work as a new institution under public law on June 28, 2025 in Saxony-Anhalt, in the state capital Magdeburg. The prerequisite for this is the ratification of the state treaty on the fulfillment of tasks in accordance with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) by all federal states. All federal states are currently creating the necessary conditions for this.
