Panels and system monitoring
The Octo GX is the communication center of your installation. It connects the individual components with each other and ensures that they work in harmony. Using your smartphone (or other device), you can monitor data and change settings in real time through our free Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM)
The Octo GX is part of the GX product family. The Octo GX is ideal for installations where there are many MPPT Solar chargers as it has 10 VE.Direct connectors.
Intuitive System Overview - Everything you need to know
As soon as you "log in" to the Octo GX you will get an immediate overview of your system: battery charge status, current power consumption, power yield from the PV system, from the grid or from a generator.
The full power of Victron Remote Management
Victron Remote Management (VRM) gives you full access to the extensive controls and settings of all system components connected to either your CCGX, Venus GX or OCTO GX. Users and installers can log in remotely from anywhere. This powerful application also makes it easy to perform checks for diagnosis and analysis of stored data.
Automatic unit start/stop
The Octo GX can be programmed to automatically start a generator. As start condition you can choose between a low voltage, a high current demand or the charging status of the battery. It is also possible to set the start to the end of "rest" periods. This prevents accidentally making noise in the middle of the night that could be disturbing.
Remote Console - control from anywhere...
Remote Console gives you visual access to real-time data and settings of your Octo GX. The special thing: You can access it from anywhere in the world.
Energy Storage Systems - 24-hour monitoring
The Octo GX manages energy storage systems (ESS). It makes sure that reserve batteries are always 100% charged, steps in during power failures and feeds excess (solar) power into the internal consumption. So you save money. Examples and further information can be found in the manual ESS (Energy Storage System).
