From the contents
Introduction, North America-why by motorhome, We introduce: the rolling vacation home, What makes a motorhome, Things to know about North America, Preparing a North American trip, The flight to North America and the pickup of the motorhome, With the motorhome on tour, At the campsite, Glossary, Motorhome rentals.

about the authors
The first edition of this book was written by the married couple Sauer (both graduated economists). It has since been revised several times by Frank Noack and Stefanie Polster.

Since 1999 the two have been renting out motorhomes in the USA, and in 2003 they founded the motorhome rental company USA CAMPER RV. The initial one vehicle has grown to 30, which can be booked for long term rentals. Mainly the two rent in the western United States. On request they also organize tours and guide travelers to places that are not overrun by mass tourism. Their many years of professional and personal experience around traveling with the motorhome in North America, they have now also incorporated into this book.

Brief description
Motorhome tours through North America have been offered in Europe for many years and the demand is continuously increasing. There one would think that there is enough material about this kind of travel in the travel agencies and from the organizers. But this is not the case. This book does not describe routes and sights in the Canadian provinces or the USA. It is intended as a detailed supplement to the numerous travel guides about the two countries.
