Votronic Battery Protector 300 battery monitor

The Votronic Battery Protector 300 (hereinafter referred to as Battery Protector) consists of a bistable high-current relay and the control electronics.
It is a fully automatic battery protector for emergency vehicles, motor homes and marine applications. The Battery Protector protects the battery from dangerous deep discharge and the consumers from both undervoltage and overvoltage.
Alternatively, it can be used as a remotely controllable power relay ("Switch Unit") by simple external wiring.

The control electronics thus combines the functions of the well-known devices "VOTRONIC Battery Protector" and "VOTRONIC Switch Unit".
With a current consumption of less than 3 mA, the Battery Protector meets the requirements of DIN EN13976. If the Battery Protector is switched off by an external 1-pole switch, this current consumption is completely eliminated. With the supplied relay, consumers with high power ratings can be operated without any problems (permanent current carrying capacity 300 A). Regardless of the operating mode selected, the consumers are switched off immediately in the event of a defective or deeply discharged battery (U < 7.8 V).
