- Automatic, adjustable charging power ensures priority charging of the starter battery by the alternator when the vehicle electrical system is under heavy load, thus ensuring that the vehicle can be started again immediately
- In the event of simultaneous consumption in parallel and buffer mode, the battery continues to be charged or maintained full. The charge converter automatically calculates and monitors the adjustment of the charging times.
- Built-in temperature compensation automatically adjusts the charging voltage to the battery temperature independently of the alternator; battery temperature sensor Art. 2001 required

- Switching input for fully automatic controlled operation (ignition, D+ engine running) or optionally manually controlled by remote switch
- Measurement input optionally enables pure voltage control of the device if required
- The unit application range also extends to clean battery charging further away from the alternator in large vehicles, trailers, utility containers, etc.
- 1 "Gel": charging program for gel batteries, characteristic IU1oU2: Tuned to sealed, gas-tight gel/dryfit batteries with fixed electrolyte, which generally require a higher charging voltage level and longer U1 holding times to achieve short charging times with particularly high capacity storage and to avoid long-term battery "starvation".
- 2 "AGM": Charging program for AGM/fleece batteries, characteristic IU1oU2: Intended for charging sealed, gas-tight AGM (Absorbent-Glass-Mat) batteries in lead-fleece technology, which require a particularly high U1 level with coordinated holding times for full charging and then a moderate U2 level for charge retention (plate and round cell technology).
- 3 "DIN 0510": Charging program for lead-acid/wet batteries, characteristic IU1oU2: General DIN characteristic for charging and charge maintenance of open and closed lead-acid batteries with removable cell plugs and the possibility of acid level control and acid level correction (maintenance). Also applicable for closed batteries low maintenance, maintenance free, low antimony, silver alloy, calcium etc. with low or very low water consumption. Provides with high U1 level short charging times, high charging factor and high acid mixing, also in dormant (stationary) use (acid stratification) for "wet" traction, lighting, solar, heavy duty and standard batteries.
- 4 "UNIVERSAL": Charging program for lead-acid/wet/AGM batteries, characteristic IU1oU2: Universal program for charging and charge maintenance of acid batteries in vehicles (mixed mobile/stationary). With medium U1 level, still provides short charge times, good charge factor and good acid mixing for open and closed, low-maintenance, maintenance-free standard, traction, lighting, solar and heavy duty batteries, as well as AGM batteries with normal U1 level.
