That the X-422 is a real comfort device is already revealed by the clearly structured front panel, which combines a large 16.5 cm/6.5" touchscreen with four sensor keys and a practical volume control. The capacitive display responds to even the lightest touch - a tap of the finger is all it takes.
The strong luminosity of the high-gloss display, its crystal-clear transparency, brilliant colours and high contrast range ensure good readability even in difficult lighting conditions.

In addition to a receiver for analogue FM broadcasting, the X-422 also has a DAB+ tuner for your noise-free digital radio enjoyment. For multimedia playback, the X-222 offers you two USB ports that support all common file formats, including FLAC and WAV. Plus a microSD card reader and an HDMI interface to which you can connect multimedia devices or a smartphone with HDMI output to transfer audio and screen content

You want to use your mobile phone optimally in your car? With the X-422's powerful Bluetooth unit, you can not only make secure calls and easily manage your favourite contacts while on the road, but also stream your music conveniently

But it gets better. Your Android smartphone can be connected to one of the two USB ports. The highlight: With the Easy Connect function you can mirror smartphone apps, including your navigation apps, on the X-422 display and operate them conveniently via touchscreen. The second USB port is used to connect iOS-based mobile devices and supports the Made for iPod/iPhone functionality.

The X-422 has two cinch inputs for connecting two cameras (front/rear or rear/rear). The CAM button on the front panel is very practical for direct manual access to the camera system
