Product description
The pole sections are all connected to each other. This makes the tent more weatherproof and simplifies its pitching. The tent only needs a few pegs - a great advantage if you want to pitch it on rocky terrain, for example. The inner tent and outer tent are also connected to each other and are simply plugged onto the pole system. This is very handy if you need to pitch the tent in the rain.
The outer tent is coated with PU on the inside and silicone on the outside. This means that it is not only made of high-strength ripstop components, but is also permanently waterproof. The Exolight II has two entrances (one on each side) with mosquito netting, allowing air to circulate freely without letting mosquitoes in.

The water column provides information about the material tightness. To determine the millimetre value, 10 cm of fabric is stretched under a measuring cylinder and the cylinder is filled with water from above. The limit value at which water droplets press through the material is the maximum water column. In Germany, a tent outer material is considered waterproof from 1500 mm.
