Coleman Vail 4 family tent for 4 people

The Vail 4 is a spacious family tunnel tent that gives you a comfortable living and sleeping area in the great outdoors. Multiple entrances make it easy to get in and out in bad weather.

The tent's exterior material is fire retardant, and for added safety, the zipper stoppers at the tent entrances ensure that the zippers are always within reach in case of emergency, even for children.

Heavy rain can't harm the polyester outer tent, which has a water column of 4,000 mm and fully sealed seams. In combination with the robust, integrated floor made of polyethylene, this ensures a dry and mosquito-free interior. The fly is also treated with Coleman's UVGuard, which provides a sun protection factor of 50 from the sun's rays. Other features include barrier-free access for easy entry and exit, extra-large sleeping quarters for a comfortable night's rest, and convenient cable holes in the tent wall for easy access to a power source outside the tent.

Fire retardant - safety first
The fire retardant property of our material ensures that the fabric will not flare up dangerously out of control and extinguish itself, giving you time to escape in an emergency.

UV Guard sun protection
Certified laboratory tests prove that Coleman UV Guard protective fabrics with an SPF50 provide excellent protection from the sun's ultraviolet rays. Proper use of sunscreen in combination with shelters made of UVGuard protective fabric can go a long way in the fight against sunburn and UV exposure.

WeatherTec 3000/4000 - waterproof system
The waterproofness of a tent is measured by the so-called water column. If a tent has a water column of 3000/4000 mm*, it can hold a water column of 3/4 meter* on its surface before water penetrates.

The UK Ministry of Defense classifies a water column of 800 mm as waterproof.

Coleman uses polyethylene (PE) floor panels, which are relatively heavy but offer guaranteed water protection. PE groundsheets are ideal for family and activity tents where light weight and small pack size are not essential.
