16 Amp charger - suitable for use in caravans and mobile homes
In a caravan the MT516 IUoU supplies the vehicle battery with a reliable charging current as required. By using the temperature sensor, it is possible to ensure optimal charging even in southern areas or in winter. If you need to charge while you are travelling, the BCB IUoU battery control booster is recommended (No. 234780). This provides the ideal combination of 12 V charging from the towing vehicle and 230 V charging.
In mobile homes the MT 516 IUoU can be used as a main charger or as an additional charger. Thanks to the integrated second charging output, there is the option of independently charging the starter battery. If the vehicle battery also needs to be charged via the alternator during the journey, we recommend using the isolating relay MT RE 70 (No. 235150), the voltage-controlled Duo-Relais MT RE 140 (No. 235160) or one of the IUoU charge boosters (No. 212170 / 212180).
Features: integrated reverse polarity and overload protection; all inputs via stable spring-loaded terminals; connecting cable already integrated. Connection option for temperature sensor provided. Functional display via LED or the optional remote display.
