Of course, a plastic buckle shouldn’t break on the very first use. Especially with a tie-down set for awnings, it’s important that all fasteners hold securely and withstand the intended loads.
The Tie Down S is designed to provide additional ground anchoring for the awning. To this end, the set includes two adjustable straps, each 300 cm long, along with matching mounting hooks, ground stakes, and tension springs. The tension springs are designed to absorb the tensile forces caused by wind.
This makes it all the more frustrating when a buckle is damaged on the very first use, thereby compromising the reliability of the fastening. For safety reasons, please do not continue to use the affected tension strap in this condition.
We recommend that you submit a claim to have the damage inspected, along with your proof of purchase.

Dass bereits bei der ersten Verwendung eine Kunststoffschnalle gebrochen ist, sollte selbstverständlich nicht passieren. Gerade bei einem Abspannset für Markisen ist es wichtig, dass sämtliche Befestigungselemente zuverlässig halten und den vorgesehenen Belastungen standhalten.
Das Tie Down S ist dafür konzipiert, die Markise zusätzlich am Boden zu sichern. Hierfür verfügt das Set über zwei jeweils 300 cm lange, verstellbare Spannbänder, passende Befestigungshaken, Erdnägel und Spannfedern. Letztere dienen dazu, die bei Wind auftretenden Zugbelastungen abzufedern.
Umso ärgerlicher ist es, wenn bereits bei der ersten Verwendung eine Schnalle beschädigt wird und die zuverlässige Befestigung dadurch nicht mehr gewährleistet ist. Bitte verwende das betroffene Spannband in diesem Zustand aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht weiter.
Wir empfehlen Dir, den Schaden mit Deinem Kaufnachweis im Rahmen einer Reklamation prüfen zu lassen.
