The locking pin prevents the TV from accidentally coming loose while travelling.

"Die Montage war relativ einfach. Die Wandhalterung lässt sich sehr gut nach allen Seiten einstellen. Das einzige was uns negativ aufgefallen ist, dass die Halterung an der der Fernseher selber befestigt ist, sich dreht. Auch nach mehrmaligen nachziehen der Schrauben war eine starre Befestigung nicht möglich. "
