The pocket stove made of electrolytically galvanized steel is suitable for pots, mugs and pans and is ideal for a quick cup of tea or a small meal in between. Was it a spontaneous flash of inspiration? Or rather the result of years of tinkering? Unfortunately we do not know exactly. Unfortunately, there is no record of how Mr. Schumm, the inventor of the Esbit dry fuel, came up with the idea of designing the pocket stove in the 1930s as we know it today. We are simply thrilled with his idea of the robust folding stove; a small pocket-sized stove, combined with our Esbit dry fuel, which is ideally stored inside the stove due to its compact format.
