AL-KO Trailer Control ATC - Anti-sway system for more safety up to 3.5 t
With the AL-KO Trailer Control ATC, you can reliably stabilize your caravan in critical driving situations such as crosswinds, overtaking manoeuvres or sudden swerving movements. The system detects swaying movements at an early stage and automatically intervenes before the trailer can sway. the wheel brakes are gently actuated via Bowden cables, which stabilizes the vehicle and brings it back on track. The function works in a similar way to a stability program in a car and ensures a safe driving experience without the need for additional maintenance.

Scope of delivery

For the AL-KO ATC to function optimally, you must observe two values: the weight range and the minimum weight of your trailer.
Weight range (e.g. 750 - 1300 kg):
This value shows you the total weight for which your caravan is designed. Your vehicle must be within this range.
Minimum weight (e.g. from 500 kg):
The ATC only works reliably when your caravan reaches this weight. Below this weight, the stabilization may not function correctly.
Note the axle type:
You must also check whether your caravan is a single-axle (1 axle) or tandem-axle (2 axles) - the variants are not compatible with each other.
Example:
If your caravan has a total weight of 1200 kg, you need a variant with a range of e.g. 750 - 1300 kg.
Important:
Always select the variant so that your caravan weight is within the specified range and the minimum weight is met. Only then will the system work reliably and ensure maximum safety.
