Fully automatic 8-step battery charger with 10 / 20 A charging current.
The Car Battery Charger is an 8-step vehicle battery charger suitable for charging and trickle charging of 12V lead-acid batteries (batteries) with liquid electrolyte (WET), maintenance-free lead-acid batteries (MF), gel electrolyte (GEL) or electrolyte absorbing mats (AGM).

Select the desired charging program (Normal, AGM, Frost, Maintenance or Night) and the microprocessor controlled car battery charger will do everything fully automatically until the charging cycle is completed and the batteries are fully charged. The German language display is easy to understand and comfortable to use.

Suitable for continuous charging
For continuous charging, the loop eyelet cables are permanently mounted on the vehicle battery to be charged. The vehicle battery charger is connected to the eyelet cable via a quick-connect plug. This is very practical, as the ring eyelet cables can remain permanently attached to the battery.

Quick charge
The battery charger allows the maximum rapid charging current of 20 amps up to 85% charge. This means that charging takes place for a much shorter time than with a conventional charger with a rated current of 20 A, which has a declining charging current due to its design.

Camping function
As soon as current is drawn from the vehicle battery when the engine is not running, recharging is program-controlled. Permanent installation on the vehicle electrical system possible.

Night mode
Low-noise charging through reduced charging power with reduced blower function.

Memory Memory
When the mains power is interrupted, the automatic battery charger starts in the last program used when the power supply is restored.

Startability display
After charging step 3, the vehicle can be started again. Note appears on the display.

Modern security technology
Reverse polarity protection, overheating protection, overload protection and short-circuit protection protect you and the unit from incorrect operation.

  Low noise charging due to reduced charging power with reduced blower function.
• Normal to 14.4V
  For all 12V lead acid batteries (except AGM)
• AGM/Frost up to 14.7V
  Frost and AGM function for adapted charging at low temperatures or for AGM batteries.

8 charging steps:

• STEP 1 "PREPARATION" BREAKING UP THE SULPHATION
  Detects batteries affected by sulphate deposits and removes these deposits with the help of pulsating current and voltage to restore optimum chargeability.
• STEP 2 "SOFT-START"
  Checks the battery for chargeability and only starts the charging process with 50% charging current if the result is positive until approx. 12.5V is reached. This prevents damage to the battery and the charger.
• STEP 3 "FAST CHARGE" FAST CHARGE UP TO 85%
  After a successful test, the device charges the battery with maximum current until 14.4V is reached (in the "Cold/AGM" program, 14.7V is selected with the "MODE" button) to a charge level of approx. 85%. In an emergency, a discharged battery is sufficiently charged after charging step 3 to restart an engine even in cold conditions.
• STEP 4 "RESIDUAL CHARGE" CHARGING UNTIL 95% IS REACHED
  Device charges with decreasing current at constant voltage up to a charge of 95%.
• STEP 5 CAPACITY TEST
  Tests the battery to maintain charge for 3 minutes. The instrument evaluates whether the battery can maintain the voltage.
• STEP 6 "MAINTENANCE" REFRESH FUNCTION 100% (PRESS "MODE" BUTTON BEFORE START)
  The "maintenance" function causes controlled outgassing of the battery acid at 16V and up to 3A. This will result in a full charge and increase the life and performance of the battery.
• STEP 7 "CONSERVATION" CONSERVATION CHARGING (100%)
  Charge maintenance at constant battery voltage 13.7V with low charging current. If not the
  If the "Maintenance" charging program has been selected, 100% of the charge is achieved in this charging step. The car battery charger works as a trickle charger from step 7.
• STEP 8 "PULSE" PULSE CHARGING (95-100 %)
  After 10 days and/or if the voltage drops below 95%, 100% of the voltage is discharged with charge pulses
  Charge and prevents sulphation.
