The Comet Arona automatic mixer tap is a modern plastic tap for the kitchen or wash area in a caravan, motorhome or campervan. The swivelling and fold-away spout offers flexible use in confined spaces and is particularly suitable for compact sinks or washbasins. Water flow and temperature can be easily adjusted. The removable water outlet can be cleaned and descaled using the cleaning key supplied. Thanks to the integrated microswitch, the mixer is suitable for mobile water systems with electric pump control. The Arona range is available in several versions.

First of all, we’re glad that you’re generally satisfied with how the faucet works. Of course, this makes it all the more frustrating that the built-in microswitch has stopped working after only 26 months, preventing the water pump from turning on as intended.
Especially with a permanently installed faucet in a trailer or RV, you expect it to function reliably for as long as possible. We therefore fully understand that you’d like to avoid the extra hassle of another repair if possible.
Perhaps we can at least help you with a suitable replacement part: The microswitch is also available separately for the Comet Arona series. You can find it in our catalog under part number **200053**. If only the microswitch is defective, it can be replaced separately, so you won’t have to replace the entire faucet right away.
We’re very sorry that the microswitch has failed after such a short time, and we hope that the option of a replacement part at least offers you a simpler solution.

Es freut uns zunächst, dass Dich die Funktion des Wasserhahns grundsätzlich überzeugt. Umso ärgerlicher ist es natürlich, dass der integrierte Mikroschalter bereits nach 26 Monaten nicht mehr funktioniert und sich die Wasserpumpe dadurch nicht mehr wie vorgesehen einschalten lässt.
Gerade bei einer fest eingebauten Armatur im Wohnwagen oder Wohnmobil erwartet man eine zuverlässige Funktion über einen möglichst langen Zeitraum. Wir können daher gut nachvollziehen, dass Du den zusätzlichen Aufwand für eine erneute Reparatur möglichst vermeiden möchtest.
Vielleicht können wir Dir zumindest mit einem passenden Ersatzteil weiterhelfen: Für die Comet Arona-Serie ist der Mikroschalter auch einzeln erhältlich. Diesen findest Du bei uns unter der Artikelnummer **200053**. Sollte tatsächlich nur der Mikroschalter defekt sein, kann dieser separat ausgetauscht werden, sodass nicht gleich der komplette Wasserhahn ersetzt werden muss.
Wir bedauern sehr, dass der Mikroschalter bei Dir bereits nach dieser Zeit ausgefallen ist, und hoffen, dass Dir die Möglichkeit eines Ersatzteils zumindest eine unkompliziertere Lösung bietet.
