Frame Tensioner
The frame of the awning can be tensioned with a frame tensioner. The tent walls are thus better tensioned and offer more stability in wind. The smaller surface area for the wind to attack means that the material and seams of the awning are better protected. In addition, camping lamps or cables can be better attached to stronger tensioned poles. Since pole tensioners can develop high forces, care must be taken when tensioning that the tent poles do not bend.
