Transverse Bed
A transverse bed is a double bed in a caravan or motorhome that is placed across the direction of travel and extends across the entire width of the vehicle.
A transverse bed offers sufficient space for sleeping. It only becomes impractical for the person behind, who always has to climb over the person in front to get out of bed.
