Keder Rail / Profile
A keder rail is located on every caravan along the edge of the roof on the door side. It is used to hold the keder sewn on to the awning and connects it firmly to the vehicle.
A keder is a reinforced strip of a tent wall or fabric. This strip is threaded into the keder rail, e.g. to attach an awning to a caravan or camper van.
